Welcome to Wayanad — Kerala’s untouched paradise, rising 700 to 2100 meters above sea level at the meeting point of three South Indian states. Here, every sunrise carries the magic of centuries — from the ancient Edakkal caves to the roaring waterfalls and emerald plantations.

This the second time Mr Sabu has guided us during trips to Wayanad. This time we undertook longer hikes, in particular the 16km Elephant route through the Wentworth plantation. Very rich in endemic plant and bird life ( a botanist or ornithologist’s dream) of which Sabu has an excellent knowledge. The trip to the Edakkal caves ( ancient cave sculpture) and through nearby villages was fascinating. A very reliable and knowledgeable guide, sabu is very good company, and has a good sense of humour! We recommend him very highly.

We had a wonderful experience with Sabu. We visited a pre historic cave complex that he bought very much to life and walked with him through the wonderful Kerela countryside. It was a magical experience that we will always treasure.

We did a Morning birding walk with Sabu and saw an incredble amount of birds. So many we would have missed if we had did it on our own. Sabu was brilliant and knew all the sounds and best places to find different species. Can highly recommend him. Highlights - Crested Goshawk, Blue-capped rock thrush, Brown-cheeked fulvetta, Small Minivets, Flame-throated bulbul, Verditer flycatcher and many more..

Sabu is an excellent bird guide and we saw so many species with him. But he is also so knowledgeable about the area and so interesting and fun to be with exploring. We highly recommend him.
